Why should i have a lower shipping rate due to USPS not picking up my pakages

When I have a sale I print my label within 12-24 hrs. I then request a pick up from USPS. Maybe 25% of the time they do not pick up my package when requested but on the following day. Now my package shows a late info upload to Ebay. How is that my fault EBAY? I cannot control a lazy postal worker!
