Why doesn''t an item relist when an order is canceled?

Does anyone know how to automatically relist an item when order got canceled?

Many times the seller would not want to auto-relist the item. He may decide not to put it up for sale again, he may want to revise the listing, it may have been cancelled due to damage, etc.

If you want to relist the item, that is an option for you.
