Why does eBay not factor handling time into delivery time estimates to customers.

We offer 1 business day handling on all of our listing and many of our products (fishing lures) ship USPS First Class.  A customer purchased and item on a Friday and we processed the order on Saturday with a mailing date of Monday and we mailed it on Monday.  The delivery estimate shown the customer on eBay was Tuesday!  When we put the info into the USPS website for zip code 14120 to 18353 it shows that a First Class Parcel tendered on a Monday should be delivered on Thursday.  USPS is not next day even if we are mailing accross the street.  The way that we interpret eBay 1 business day handling time, an order paid for on Friday, would need to be processed by Monday (midnight Pacific) and mailed on Tuesday and would not arrive to this customer until Friday.  The only way that the package would have made it by Tuesday would be if we had mailed on Saturday. Why is the eBay delivery estimate Tuesday?  Are they not factoring in the stated handling time? We include a detailed explaination of handling time in all of our listings, but nothing matters when the customer sees that delivery date provided by eBay. Makes it very difficult to make customer happy when eBay is overly optimistic in their delivery date estimates.
