I recently canceled an order because the item ended up getting damaged before It could be shipped. The buyer left me a negative for doing so. I reported this buyer and let eBay know that I want this negative removed. But, eBay only removed the comments? How can I get the negative removed as well? I would think that if they removed 1) The comments attached to the negative....that they would also remove 2) the negative itself?

Your buyer had a bad experience and was entitled to leave appropriate feedback. You didn't have a valid reason for the removal...or for reporting the buyer.

The comments may have violated an ebay policy.....BUT you failed to ship an item and buyers are allowed to express that via negative feedback.

Hi @hugh5jason
eBay removes the whole feedback only when a seller is able to convince a CS rep that it was left unfairly. If just the comment violated an eBay policy ... then only the comment is removed.
You didn't describe how you handled the situation with the buyer when you discovered the problem with the glasses. Did you contact the buyer, apologize, describe the damage, and give the buyer the opportunity to accept the item at a reduced price ... or did you just merely cancel without communication?
You still have a chance to communicate with the buyer ... and perhaps they will revise the neg. You have 30 days from the time the feedback was left to send the buyer a 'Feedback Revision Request'. [Never send the FRR if the buyer hasn't agreed to revise the FB, since you only get 5 of those per year.]
