I sold an item that I had used literally 3 times. I clearly noted that in the description. The product worked perfectly when I tested it before shipping. I charged the buyer a flat rate of $6.00 for shipping and it cost me $20.00 to ship it. The buyer claims it does not work. It was carefully packed in all original packaging, so I know it was not damaged in shipping. Buyer is demanding a refund because she thought the item was new, and she claims it is defective. Now I will be out for return shipping as well, which will mean I will pay more in shipping than she paid, and I have to refund her. Are there any protections for sellers? I won’t ever sell again on eBay —I’m just an individual hoping to make extra money by selling items I am not using. I am not a business who can afford to lose money. I think this user is dishonest and had buyers remorse after getting the item. Please help!
