Is there a way to use the Buyer Management feature to block bidders who are attempting to troll bid on an auction or using a bot program to bid?
On one collectible item I had previously listed, a bidder apparently created an Ebay account the day after the auction began, and started increasing the bid incrementally with over two dozen bids with almost no pause in-between each bid. This caused the actual winner of the auction to falsely accuse me of using a shill and refusing to pay.
While I know I can set up my auctions to block specific buyers by username, as well as block bidders with a history of unpaid winnings, I remember in the old days of Ebay you could also set a preference where the bidders on your item had to have a minimum amount of time they've been a member of Ebay (or at least a minimum number of auctions they've participated in to exclude bidders who just set up their account at the same time as your auction).
Is it still possible today to set up your account to accept bids only from veteran Ebayers rather than people just creating new Ebay accounts for the purpose of troll bidding?
