Unnecessary Verification Requests

Am I the only one having this problem, or has something gone horribly wrong with eBay? Some time in the past week or so I have started getting a pop-up request by eBay asking me to enter a six digit code in order to continue. The text says that it is necessary in order to keep the eBay workplace secure. I can go along with that once in a while, but four or five times every day is getting really, really, really OLD. I am at my home, working (or trying to work) on a non-shared, non-laptop computer. What is causing this extremely annoying stuff to keep asking over and over all through the day? IAM SICK TO DEATH OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!
