USPS Tracking says ALERT on my Return

I recently sent back something I bought as a return and it's showing up as "ALERT - As of May 17, 2018 at 10:16 pm, your package is still on its way. We apologize that it will arrive later than expected." on the USPS website. It's been stuck on this for 5 days and it's been about 10 since I sent the return. Has anyone experienced this? I havn't recieved my refund because the tracking number doesn't yet say delivered. Super big pain in the neck considering the seller was hard to work with from the begining.
