USPS Scanning Time

It appears that USPS is scanning packages into their internal system the day after I mail them.  At exactly 00:59 for almost all of my mailings.  I work days outside the home so when someone buys something on a Monday, I do up the shipping to ship on Tuesday - it goes out on Tuesday but is not scanned into the USPS system until 00:59 on Wednesday morning despite the actual pick up scan shown on the tracking being in the afternoon on Tuesday.

How can this be acceptable to sellers?  I have now gone from 3 packages being shipped late to over 26 since this new system started.  The three packages are when a sale happens on Saturday and I do not get the shipping done until Monday, it ships on Tuesday most of the time if I miss the USPS pickup.  Ebay considers Saturday a work day but I am closed on the weekends... I have a life.  December late reported delivery was a disaster...  USPS is to blame for this - not sellers.  All my delivery were exactly 1 day after the estimate that Ebay provides the buyer - the buyers are not complaining but Ebay is holding sellers hostage on this.  

I am no longer a power seller after being one for over 5 years... sales are at the lowest I have seen in years.
