UPS RETURN ONLY LABEL

Recently I have had two items that were not as described and each time I was forced to use the UPS label to return or no refund.   I have tried to ask the seller for a USPS label instead.   Most companies all use Smart Post to Return, but not here on Ebay.   Do sellers get UPS Labels to give to the buyer to send the item back and refuse to use USPS if it is a great hardship on buyer to use the UPS label ?   The UPS site is a good distance from me and my car isn't always reliable, yet the Postman comes by everyday, I'm part of his route.   If I don't use the label provided I either need to pay for alternative shipping or simply not get my refund when the item is the wrong item that was sent ?   I have tried to talk to the seller, they simply say they can only provide a UPS label and to use that one or pay out of my pocket to get a refund.   Any Ideas on what to dol
