Two problems: fixing incorrect phone# + confusing eBay email

I accidentally clicked confirm when eBay wanted to verify (out of the blue) my cell phone number.  I should have clicked on "I don't have a cell phone" [because I don't want them to have my cell phone]. What they have as cell is actually land line. Now, I can't find a place to correct the phone info.

Also, immediately after doing that, I received an email from eBay stating that I had changed my EMAIL address, which I definitely did not do, and asking me to confirm.  I have not confirmed, because that seems like it could create all kinds of problems.

Anyone know where I go to correct the phone contact info?  Is it OK to ignore the request to confirm an email ;change which I did not do?
