Tracking number posted then days before it ships

I know why sellers do this but it irks me to no end. A number of sellers will generate a shipping label within 1 day of payment to meet their agreed to ship times but then don’t ACTUALLY ship the item for several days and sometimes not at all. Rant over😀.

Creating a label isn't counted by eBay as meeting their agreed shipping time. Only a carrier scan does that. No scan means a ding on their seller record. Some sellers automatically print labels when the orders come in based on their shipping process. There is nothing wrong with that.

Don't focus on when a seller ships. It only matters that you receive your item by the estimated delivery date. If you don't, you can take action.
