Text Message with Ebay Code

I keep getting text messages saying "Your Ebay code is ------"   I've gotten 9 of them in the past 3 hours.  I haven't requested anything from Ebay.  I changed my password, did security questions, enabled a pin code and eventually got fed up and completely shut down my Ebay account and I'm STILL getting these texts.  I even changed my PayPal password also.  Idk if this is a scam or if someone is truly trying to hack my account that I've shut down.

Best to contact eBay Trust & Safety and have them look at what's behind all the texts.
