Sold item in Parcel locker

We have a sold item that was delivered on Saturday to a “parcel locker”.  The buyer still does not have his item.  How do we resolve this?  Thanks!

Sold item in Parcel locker

HI @merchman50

Check the tracking history, most likely it is similar to a Post Office box only bigger for packages and it should show it is delivered.  You are covered for an INR (Item not received) claim if it is filed which I doubt it will be.

That's exactly what it is.  When a package is too large to fit in the mailbox, the postal carrier can put the package in an adjacent/nearby parcel locker, and put the key to that locker in the customer's mailbox.  Unlocking the door to the parcel locker traps the key in the lock, and only the carrier can remove it.

I receive mail to a box in a cluster group of 12 mailboxes that serves 12 residences on the street.  About six houses down (six on each side of the street), there's another cluster box unit that serves the next 12 residences, and so on.  I said "can" put the package in the locker because sometimes s/he walks across the lawn and leaves the package on my porch.

Hi @merchman50  Resolve what?  Has the buyer contacted you about it, or are you watching the online tracking yourself?  If your buyer hasn't asked you about it or opened an Item Not Received claim, there is nothing for you to resolve.  You can just leave it alone.  Even if you shipped to what looks like a street address, it may actually be a post office since many of them allow delivery to the Post Office street address.  You can google maps the address and see if that's the case.  A post office parcel locker is one of the safest places to deliver.  They will hold it there for quite a while until it gets picked up.   As far as you're concerned it's delivered.  Good luck!
