Sign in not working on Vista computer

Hello all, we have an old Vista Business computer (Dell Optiplex 755) which we use as a dedicated eBay computer for handling orders and printing that up until a couple months ago worked fine for the cause.  But now it won't accept email or username, the "Continue" box remains grayed out.  Tried Firefox, Chrome, Opera and more browsers with the same result.  Tried all the usual clearing cache changed security settings etc. and nothing seems to work.  Anyone else had this issue?  I've Googled and tried ideas here from past posts such as private browsing mode to no avail and running out of ideas.  It's like the username/email box does not realize there's text entered into it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance..

Older operating systems like Vista and XP may no longer have all the latest security features necessary to support secure connections, and the older security standards that worked previously may no longer be supported by eBay.

Check your SSL/TLS client to see if there is any possible update available that might help:

You may need to bite the bullet and upgrade that computer, though.

Thanks for the reply.  That's a neat site that I hadn't ran across before and will save for future reference.  It says "Your SSL client is probably okay", and the other checks it lists as good.  I've tried over the years to keep it updated best I could.  However especially when OS support ends and the other third party companies like for the browsers and AV start backing away it gets challenging as more and more pieces start breaking from lack of updates.  When I started working on it I found that PC Matic no longer was supporting or updating the AV for Vista.  After some digging I found Avast (which I also had on it for a number of years in the past) still supports Vista to a point.  I have scanned it multiple times with Avast and and couple other online scanners that still worked for Vista and found no virus, just a couple of PUPs that I deleted.  I can't get the latest Java to take on it without throwing an error on loading a couple .dll files.  Yet Java version 8 update 231 (vintage 2019 I think) reloaded back on it without errors.

I have found one other website so far that won't finish loading.  Oracle.com starts to load and render then goes white screen and unfortunately gives no error indication as to why it stopped loading.  I'm sure there is a clue to the problem in there somewhere but have yet to figure out what it is.  lol
