Shipping Heavy Item with Fedex for 1st Time

I've just listed the heaviest item that I've ever had (13 lbs), and it appears my only realistic shipping option is Fedex Ground/Home Delivery because all other shipping options were insanely expensive. I've never shipped via Fedex before, but I've read some things that suggest that the price the eBay calculator shows may not be accurate. I'm selling bedding (a comforter set) that, when packaged, is 13 lbs, 30" x 23" x 20". Is there any reason that I would be charged more than what the eBay calculator is showing?
