Scammers often ask for additional photos from new sellers as a reason for the seller to contact the scammer outside of eBay. Once the scammer has a text number or email address for the seller, the scammer can send a fake payment notice to try to convince the seller to ship without actually being paid.
You should be able to add up to five photos to an eBay message if the buyer is not a scammer.
