Seller won't respond..

So I placed a bid on what I thought was a natural emerald & 14 karat solid gold ring however, at the end of the auction I emailed the seller and asked if they were sure it was natural emerald and solid white gold? and they responded within an hour with "it's gilded". I told them that is not what I thought it was and I wanted to cancel it and now they never respond. When I attempt to ask eBay for help they say it's too late and my order is on its way.  What do I do?
