Seller won't reply to messages and combined shipping requests after I won 2 of his lots

Hi there. I won 2 of this particular seller's auctions on October 31st, or exactly one week ago. After I won my 2nd auction I tried to and successfully submitted a combined shipping request. I understand that it doesn’t mean the seller offers the combined shipping nor does it mean he does not – eBay simply let me do it. Otherwise I would get a message stating the obvious.  That said I got no response from the seller. So, I submitted my request again the following day and again in 2 days – seller is still MIA. So, I went ahead and contacted hi via “Contact Seller” form from both of my winning lots–yes, that is 2 messages sent -, stating that I WANT TO AND WILL BE PAYING (this is the key here, look at my rating) as soon as he drops me an invoice. 2 days later I did the same thing asking him to stop ignoring me – still no word from the seller. Both lots were intended to be presents for multiple people at t a party this coming Saturday, November 11th. As of today, I still have not heard from the seller. In fact, I didn’t even have unpaid cases opened against me. I’m not sure at this point that even if I pay right now, I would be getting my lots in time for the occasion. In fact, I feel that I won’t be getting my lots at all and would have to waste more time dragging the “non-receipt case” through eBay system. It also appears to me as if by ignoring me seller want to drop out of my winning bids because of the winning bid amounts. Just yesterday I contacted the seller (2 messages again) asking him to cancel both of my orders because I don’t want to buy it from him because of his total neglect – and still no word from hi.

At this point I’d like to know what would be the best course of action here. Much appreciated.
