Seller hasn’t acknowledged the purchase

I bought & paid for a full size washer & dryer and the seller has not responded to multiple requests to come pick it up. I’m convinced I’ve been swindled because there’s no reason for there to be no response to my multiple msgs.  Can I pursue a start on getting my money returned?
