We have been selling on eBay for quite a while.  We have 5 out of 496 sales marked as "defect".  This is giving us a 1.01% rating.  We need a .50% rating to get Top Rated Seller?

Each of the 5 items were NOT shipped due to the fact that they was a flaw in the item and could not be shipped.

Any thoughts?  I personally think that our sales record with 100% customer satisfaction should have an impact on the defect rate.

Thanks

Maybe it should, but it is not a metric eBay uses to measure seller performance. Not being able to ship an item after it is bought is a serious problem in eBay's eyes.

ALWAYS be honest and exceedingly FAIR!
