Security code sent via text when I did not request. Am I being hacked??

I just received a security code via text... but I am not doing anything to request anything like this.  Should I be concerned?  Is there something I should do?

Possibly someone with a similar username or email address mistyped your username by mistake when trying to sign in, and is trying to reset their password unsuccessfully. If that is the case, most likely they will soon figure things out and sign in to their own account.
