Search not working

If I do a direct search within a category (in this case roleplaying games), items are not coming up - including ones I am selling even though they are listed in this category.  My exposure to buyers is getting cut due to this and I (and eBay) am losing money daily.  Is anyone else having this problem?  I am frequently shocked that a multi-billion dollar company has so many and so frequent long-term problems with their code.
