SHIPPING RATES

I sold two large M&M Pillows.  They weighed 2 lbs  15 oz.  I put Economy Shipping because for some reason it costs a lot to ship this size package across country.  The package size is 16X12X10.  It's the box I could fit them in.  I'm still new and learning how to ship items in different boxes/packages.  Ebay said, "Buyer paid you $0 for shipping, and they are charging me $52.20 for a shipping label! Plus the label is Priority Mail.  I put Economy Shipping.  What is going on!?  Please help me understand.  

I'm sure I can try to figure out a better package so it doesn't cost as much.  But did Ebay just charge the person for the item and not shipping?  How can they not charge shipping?  In no way did I put Free Shipping. I never have yet.  I keep looking at the Listing and it says Economy Shipping.  Ebay is charging me almost double what the person is paying for my items.

When I view that listing, it shows that the buyer paid $24.99 for the pillows and $49.10 for shipping.  I’m not sure why you’re seeing it the way you stated.  Hopefully someone else will come along soon that can help you with this.  But when I look at it, I’m not seeing what you posted here.

I found out that it is a local pickup, but the address says PA, so I will contact buyer and see what's up.

The buyer probably saw "Free" and chose that without realizing it's Local Pickup. My guess is they won't want to pay that high shipping, and you'll end up cancelling the order.

As to the shipping "changing" to Priority Mail - you don't have to use that. What happened is you listed with USPS Parcel Select Ground, and although we can list with that service, eBay no longer lets us print labels with that service. They 'default' the label slot usually to a Flat Rate Priority service, but ignore that.

If you want to ship USPS Ground, you can print a label with same discounts from PayPal (paypal.com/shipnow) or a free service like pirateship.com, then upload the tracking to your order.
