Return shows "delivered to Agent"

I returned a product using the seller's return USPS tracking label. It was delivered the next day to a local "return agent" with notice that USPS will not be able to track any longer.  Days later it does not show return delivery complete. I am waiting for my refund.

My  first question is, "Shouldn't the product be listed as return complete?" To me it seems that when a legal RETURNS AGENT takes delivery then as far as the product is concerned it is delivered and accepted.

My second question is, "If it has been given to an return agent does the 6 days to refund begin from that delivery time and date?

If not then we the consumer need to deal with this. We have no tracking or control and a legal agent is involved.
