So I bid on an item for a birthday April 24 I paid. dude didn't ship for 3 weeks so I opened a return. I went back to the return when It said I could escalate the issue to Ebay. The seller never got back to me and I see in his reviews he does this all the time and then tries to make the buyers look bad. The item never arrived and Ebay closed my case. I want my money back. The seller is trying to say the item is in shipping but the bday party has come and gone. Had to get something else. I just want my money back and I can't even fine an email addy so I can email Ebay about the problem. when I try to contact Ebay it makes me pick an option. All options end with "This case is closed." It was a lot of money for getting nothing.

You have to return the item if you want your money back. Why did you open a return if you don't have the item to return?

Do you have a tracking number to check whether the item is on its way?

Since you filed for a return before you received the item and the case is closed, don't think Ebay will do anything to help.

You should have opened an Item Not Received case.

If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your credit card.

I returned the item because he never shipped. I didn.t need it anymore. It was for a party that came and passed before he even shipped. That party was 3 weeks after I already won the action and paid for the item

I see. I tried to return because he never shipped.. I had to buy another gift for my friend. He lives 1 state away from me. I bought that thing April 24th and its now May 15th. 3 weeks! Ebay made a new request for me for lost item. I don't know all these rules... I have never had a problem with a seller. 😕

Tracker said delivered but still not here. I did get a refund. I had to have Ebay help. This guy wouldn't even talk to me. He was rude and used fowl language... I feel it was some kind of a scam..
