Resolution case

My buyer opened a case for an item not received. It was delayed in shipping. Ebay put a hold on the case until 1/7. The package was finally delivered on 1/5. 
The case still shows as opened, but the listing shows the package was delivered. 
Do I need to contact Ebay, does the buyer, or does Ebay review it and close it automatically?
