Resolution Center

I have an unpaid item that has gone to the resolution center.  The buyer contacted me and said they can pay after the date which the resolution will take place.  Can you change the status of the item to reflect an agreement between seller and buyer? Or something else?  I have tried calling the help center but the wait time is too long.
