closed the PP account with my deceased wife name on it, opened up a new account, now I am the new kid on the block. PP seems to think they need to hold money from sales till I prove my self. I see now why so many sellers went to Amazon. Anyone got any ideas?

As a new seller, your funds will be help until online tracking shows delivered or the full 21 days if there is no online tracking.
If you used eBay shipping labels, tracking is automatically uploaded and you funds will be released in 24 hours after tracking shows "delivered". If not, then enter the tracking number under the item on your SOLD page. PayPal releases the funds in about 24 hours after tracking shows delivered.
eBay will no longer hold your funds after 90 consecutive days of selling with no unresolved case, 25 transactions and $250 in transactions.
