advertisement taking up the top of my landing page

Sheesh! Why does eBay allow ads that take up the whole top of or landing page. It can't be closed. I've went in and opted out of all the ad companies. This just started today. I can't see the top 25% of my page. I can't click on messages or account, etc.  It just sits there and won't scroll away. Does anyone else just wish ad choices would just die and go to advertising hell?

@peterrabbit616   Do you have a pop up blocker installed?  I like adblock plus.  Once adblock installed in the extensions settings uncheck the box that says allow acceptable advertisements.
