I did not know the business policy thing was not the only way until I heard another vlogger mention they do not use them. I must have opted in the first time I sold on ebay, before my stroke, because I went in to the business policies the other day and there were three pages of them in my account. Many were the same, apparently making listings on the phone creates a new policy each time. After having listings switch to free shipping on me, I no longer start listings from the phone and now I also know that editing them on the phone after they have been published is suspect, but on to my question. On the business policies page it says I can 'opt out'. What happens to the sections that these policies fill in if I opt out? Will my listings all have free shipping till I change them? Also My free economy shipping shows local pick up and my husband is against me doing meets, so I want it off all the shipping policies. I am pretty frustrated with looking for answers right now so if anyone can just tell me I would appreciate it.
@carriesgiftsgalore When you opt-out you will have to set up a listing policy from scratch on each listing which is pretty much what you have been doing when using the app.
You can also use clean up on the business policy page to remove unused policies.
OR reassign listings to different policies from the business policies page.
I only list from a PC and then on the form I select which policy I wish to assign from a list, it saves time.
