I just want to take a minute to say how god awful the eBay search engine is. Even when the "include description" box is not checked it still looks past the auction title to include a bunch of irrelevant listings I shouldn't have to sort thru.
I need a new headlight bulb for my car. So I search for "Phillips D2R 6000k -LED" and get an absolute crapload of LED listings, listings which do not have phillips anywhere in the auction title and which are not 6000k color temp. It seems that eBay is trying to help terrible sellers who are hocking counterfeit garbage products sell more of their rip-offs and simultaneously making the user experience even worse. eBay should quit trying to emulate the Facebook business model where they make the user experience far worse to please the worst people possible
The reason that generic parts are showing up in your search is that the generic parts have the Philips name in the "Interchange Part Number" item specific. Even if you limit your search to title and not description, item specifics will still still be searched.
A better way to search for a genuine Philips part is to first narrow your search to a specific category, and then use the manufacturer brand item specific filter on the left side of the search results page and select the checkbox for Philips.
For instance, try this search:
