Buyer requested return but later realized item ordered was in box

Buyer requested a return but later realized the item ordered was in the shipping box. At this point the buyer is happy with their purchase. The next day when I went to review the return details I accidentally accepted the return. What to I need to do to close this issue and ensure eBay does not automatically generate a return label for the buyer at my expense?

@raybones01   Ask the buyer to close the request.  If the label is issued then the buyer has 5 days to send the item back or you can  contact CS to close the case.  You are not charged the label unless it's used. 

If you or the buyer do nothing then it closes out after 21 days.  

Cancel a return request

If you've changed your mind about a case you've opened, and no longer want to return your item, it's easy to cancel your request. See the instructions below to find out how:

1. Go to your Purchase history and find the item.
2. Select See request details in the More actions dropdown menu.
3. Select Close your request and choose your reason from the dropdown menu.

It's important to make sure you're certain you want to cancel a request, as you won't be able to re-open a case once it's been closed.
