Quadraphonic LP's

With the increased interest in multi-channel sound of all types, I am continuing to have difficulty with quadraphonic lp records; sellers are misidentifying regular stereo records as quad.  On multiple recent transactions, this error has resulted in refunds/returns through no fault of the buyer.  It involves a relatively small range in time, roughly 1971-1977, and some titles are comparatively rare.  Sellers see much higher sales activity on quad issues than stereo ones, and suddenly, it must be Quadraphonic!

In some cases, the seller may have 'borrowed' photos or text from another seller's auction with the same title, assuming that anything with that title/cover is quad.  This is especially true with theatrical original cast albums.  More often than not, the cover photos are not of the actual record for sale, unclear and out of focus, incomplete, or lacking photos of the record labels. Worse yet, the clear pictures show that it's only a stereo copy, but the seller includes the record number for the quad version. Has anyone else had this problem?
