Purchase Protection is Running Out of Time

I ordered some backing plates for my car on Nov 22, 2023.
As I understand it, they were shipped from Poland by Ship; but hasn't been any update since Nov. 29 2023.
Returns accepted through Jan 10, 2024.
I don't want to open a Dispute and have the seller loose money on this purchase; Yet, I don't want to loose my money either!

Can the Protection time be extended?

Did you file a Returns Request?  Why?  You have nothing to return.  What is the estimated delivery date?  When the item is one day late, you can file an Item Not Received case.  I suggest calling customer service and see if they can change the case from a returns request to an item not received case.

No, I didn't file  a Return Case.
The Order Date was Nov 22

Arriving by Sun, Dec 10 was the given Estimate.
Returns (assuming it arrived) would be though Jan 10.
So, in one week I will have a Deadline to Open an Item Not Rec'd. Case; but that's not necessarily, MY CHOICE!

You've missed my Concern.
I don't want to have this Seller loose money, on my Purchase.
Nor; Do I want to loose money.

So I'm asking if this can be Solved - Amicably   ? 

If the Date for Purchase Protection can be Extended? 

eBay should allow an extension if both Parties agree.
