Payment methods for motorcycle

Hello everyone, first time buying on eBay motors. Had a question about the payment options for a motorcycle I just put a deposit on. I contacted the seller asking how to proceed with paying the full balance, and they told me to pay by bank check, wire transfer, check, in person, or money order. They told me PayPal was not accepted. I am in another state, and cannot travel to put my mind at ease. They didn't state full payment would need to be other than PayPal in the description.

I have two questions, should I open a case because the listing didn't state PayPal wasn't accepted for full payment or is this normal?

The seller has excellent feedback and appears to be a dealer, not a private seller. The only real red flag is that the messages I get from them seem a little off in terms of structure (ie they are in a hurry to write the message). 

The seller is John T Hunter Motor Sales in case anyone has dealt with them personally.
