Hello all, I feel like I'm running out of options and would really appreciate some help with my issue.
I purchased an xbox 360 controller from an eBay seller on 12/6/20 and paid right away as I always do with my PayPal account.
Checked on it 4 days later to see the shipping tracking information but instead it was showing that payment is pending.
Logged my PayPal and bank websites to check if I had made a mistake but nope shows on both sites that $27.38 was deducted from my account as payment to that seller on 12/7/20.
Of course I contacted the seller and they said they did not receive payment and asked for transaction id which i gave, then in their next reply they said they cannot find my order and asked for the order number which I sent, then finally todays message from the seller read, "Thanks for your email.
Sorry to tell you that you do not pay for this item, it still in waiting payment."
Might be worth mentioning that this is a Chinese seller that was labeled as a US based seller when I made the purchase.
At this point I just want my money back but when I go to use the eBay refund option it says that we cant refund because seller has the status as payment pending and gives me a link to hit titled Pay Now but when I press it I get an error message.
I'm getting pretty darn frustrated because I needed this thing before the holidays and now that's out the window and no local stores carry these controllers anymore.
Thanks,
-Ivan
Is this a new seller? I am guessing he may have mistyped his Paypal email address and that is why payment is shown as pending. You might send a message and ask him to check that information and then contact Paypal for help in getting it fixed. If the seller is actually located in China, that item is not going to arrive in time for Christmas.
