Not finding a user who bids

Ok so someone bid on my item I just wanted to see the bidder .. so I typed bidder name in search box it comes up CANT FIND ….. what does this mean ? I can type my bidding name in and I COME UP … any help would be appreciated …

 

is this a robot bidding ? 

or a scammer ?

Not finding a user who bids

You should be able to see bidder names in the "bid history" while your auction is active or newly ended. However, the names will revert back to anonymous format a short period of time after the auction has ended. 

To investigate that bidder, copy the link below and substitute the bidder's name for your name.

To determine if a bidder is toying with your account: on the "bid history", click the bidder name to see what other items and categories are being bid at the same time.

 

If you have a bidder who has not paid, then after 4 days have passed, you can cancel the sale, selecting the reason "buyer hasn't paid". Your fees will be refunded, the buyer will receive a defect, and you can relist.
