When is eBay going to wise-up and see that buyers will falsely claim "not as described" when the seller has a no return policy???? I sold a brand new ring with tags and COA for $269 with free shipping insurance and signature confirmation. I have a no return policy so the buyer filed a "not as described" as the reason for the return, which is typical in order to bypass no return policy listings. Then to make matters worse eBay froze my account! Buyer states parts are missing, specifically gem stones. The stones on the ring were designed in a triangle pattern, which calls for blank spaces in order to show that the stones are clustered in triangles. The buyer thinks there should be gems in the blank spaces and doesn't understand the blank spaces are there for a reason...to show the design. The entire outside border of this ring beginning at the top is space-space-gem all the way around which is the one gem at the top of the triangle. The next row is space-gem-gem to show the two center gems of the triangles, and the bottom row is a solid row gems for the base of the triangle. My photos shows this design as does their photos taken for the return request. There are no stones missing and two eBay reps agreed when they viewed my listing and photos in comparison to the buyers photos. I called eBay and the first rep "Clarence" said buyers cannot claim "not as described" just because the seller doesn't accept returns. He said "I will be your lawyer on this so don't worry" and a second rep "Ina" in the resolutions dept said the same thing...not to be concerned about eBay paying the buyer back in this case. Then I was switched over to the Payroll dept where I stayed on hold for 48 min / 47 sec before my call was dropped and disconnected! Three hours later I got an email telling me to either issue a return label or eBay would be issuing a refund out of my account and let the buyer keep the ring! When will eBay open their eyes and see the truth about these buyers? EBay needs to step up and help sellers rather than refunding dishonest buyers???
