From what I gather on these new policies, in order to get Top Rated status and or discounts, eBay is now attempting to force us to give 30 day FREE (meaning WE, the seller) has to pay for returns.... this is not acceptable to me. With that said, I give a 14 day return and the buyer pays to return the items unless there is a problem with it not matching the description. This is more than fair for a small business such as mine, in my opinion. I do not care about top rated status as eBay has NOT ONCE given me any discounts because of being top rated and I've been such many times. My question here is if I do not give 30 days and pay for items to be returned, must I then go to saying no returns and tell my customers it's due to eBay's new policy? Or can I still offer the same generous 14 days return policy that the buyer pays for? What do you all understand this policy to really mean?
