New Seller rule requiring a checking account

Has anyone found a way to avoid or get around letting e-bay have access to your checking account?

That is just to easy for them to get hacked again and empty the checking account.

Opening a new checking account for e-bay to use, seems to require monthly fees or transaction costs.

Open a second checking account for eBay's Managed Payments.

Keep a minimum balance in the account.

Do not use your houshold account.

There are online bank accounts that do not charge monthly fees.
