Never received an item but can't open a case

Here's what happened, I wanted to return an item that I bought accidentally and tryied doing so imediately after the auction closed.  I opened a case but nothing ever came of it.  That's part is fine, but now the problem is that I still haven't received the item and it's way past the expected delievery window.  But now I can't open a case opn this item because I already did and there is no where I can add any new information.  I also am not given the option to contact ebay... So now what do I do?  Thank you.
