Necessary selling documentation

Hello,

     I am wondering (and I will explain my situation) if I need a seller's permit, or a small business license and/or a EIN/tax ID number? I have been using Ebay (mostly to buy) for about 5 years or so now. I have dabbled into sales (but only sold maybe 5-7 items over that time total.

    Now, as for me, I am a pharmacist---so this is NOT my "business" so to say. It is both more like a hobby/ "let's have or huge garage sale online" kind of venture. But having said that, profit will be made.

   I do plan to list asap over 50 items for sale and then continually post items to sell as well. Does that mean I need a "store". If so, what is the benefit to having a "store" and if having a store versus just selling items constitute a business? Please help. (Oh, I live in Florida)
