Markdown Sales Promotion

I'm trying to learn how to set up a Markdown Sales Promotion.  I created a promotion - $100 off - selected a single item (as a test).  Everything in the Marketing area appears correct - it is active, there has been a spike in views, etc.  Yet when I look at the actual item listing, there is no indication of a reduction in price.  I thought the discount I selected ($100) would acutomatically revise the listing to reflect the sale price?

And I think I found my own answer - I believe my repricer adjusted the price within the last 14 days.
