What recourse does a seller have if the USPS loses a package? There is proof of mailing, but no confirmation of delivery. Or, signature confirmation is purchased and again, the package never arrived. The buyer would have their money returned. Where does that leave the seller? Does that mean, unless insurance is purchased, the seller loses the cost of the item and shipping?
