Listing removed after sale.

A listing (Bumbo) was deleted from my site after it had sold. I didn't realize it had been recalled. I was not to ship although I had already printed the label and packaged. I was about to notify buyer but I could no,longer find any info about her on,eBay. She opened a case on me yesterday because she neither received item money back or message. I understand this, why doesn't eBay message the buyer as to what they had done so that this whole case thing is stopped before it starts. Just yesterday I could respond to her "complaint" via eBay, which is what I was trying t do the whole time. She told me I was also unable to find my information so that she was able to contact me to find out WHAT HAPPENED.

what is with this has anyone had a similar situation? Does eBay pay her back her money? I can't find it in my paypal acct.
