There are 117 listings that are missing items  specifics. These have disappeared. I have no copies of these listing. eBay is saying to download/upload to quickly update them in bulk?

Postage, size, weight, price, condition remarks, Mpn, etc.

If the listings have disappeared, are they listings that have already ended?

This is a strange assortment of requests: "Postage, size, weight, price, condition remarks, Mpn, etc" .

Is that something eBay requested, or is that just a statement of what is possible?

I see that you currently have 315 listings. While eBay may recommend more item specifics for listings, only the "required" item specifics carry weight. It is not uncommon for eBay to "recommend" item specifics that are not relevant to the item. However, if you can add as many relevant item specifics as possible, the listing is more likely to rank higher in search.
