I sold an item on Ebay. It was damaged in shipment to the buyer. The buyer wants to return and get a refund.
How do I file a claim for the damage? Directly with USPS? or go through Ebay? What works best?

File a claim with USPS online at:

Get a few photos from the buyer of item and package and have them hang on to the so they can be inspected.
Give the buyer a full refund.
You go to usps.com and file an insurance claim, if it was insured.
