I sold an item yesterday and the auction clearly states payment is due within 48 hours of close.
The buyer messaged me this morning asking if he could hold off on paying for a week since he wants to bid on some items that I listed after the auction closed. I told him no because I’ve had people do that before and I’ve gone weeks without getting paid.
He then said he no longer wanted the item if I couldn’t wait. I said fine and told him to open a request to cancel the sale. He then messaged me back saying he would pay on time but only if I provided additional photos of the item he already won.
I no longer feel this buyer is dealing in good faith and I honestly do not trust him any longer.
Can I still cancel the sale saying the buyer changed his mind? I don’t get dinged for that do I?
