Hello...Is anyone having issues with the information on their Unsold/ Not relisted page? I have had 2 incidents where I have used this information to relist an item and both times the item had already been sold. As for the reason Ebay offers to cancel the sale, you are forced to choose from a limited list and it appears to go into your item defect stats. Any ideas why this happening and how I can prevent it? Other then constantly monitoring the page for conflicting information?
I have items on that list that were not sold or relisted at the time they went on the list but that have been sold since under a new item number. I use Sell Similar to relist. Perhaps that's what you did. Another way it can happen is if you substituted an item at the buyer's request and forgot to end the listing for the item you shipped instead.
As for cancelling transactions...if you are not able to ship or you choose not to ship the item the buyer purchased, you receive a defect. It doesn't matter whether it was a mistake or not. So if you find that you are regularly relisting sold items and ending up with defects, you need to find a better way to verify you actually have the item before you relist.
